Here are 10 tips to boost your potential and lead a meaningful and purposeful life.

  1. Our future depends on many external factors but if you can minimize the external factors to the bare minimum; then future depends mostly only on you. When this happens, you are in control of your life and happiness.

  2. Make wise decisions in life. Keep things simple. Do not complicate life.

  3. We need to stop regretting about the past and worrying about the future. There is no point in worrying because we cannot change the past and we cannot control the future. But we can live a meaningful and purposeful life in the present.

  4. Disappointments, hardships, accidents, betrayal… are all part of life. Do not segregate the negative aspects of life and see them differently. Include them as part of the complete life. Just like peace, prosperity, joy and happiness, these negative aspects also enrich our life. They are stepping-stones to a life of bliss. We need to reach a level where these negative aspects no longer disturb us.

  5. Avoid multitasking. Do one thing at a time. Be committed in a single relationship. Do a job properly and excel in it. When you are multitasking, you are no longer genuine. Who will take a person seriously who is concentrating on the mobile while talking? It irritates the other person. Finish one task before moving on to another one.

  6. Avoid procrastinating. Do not wait for tomorrow and the right opportunity. Start now this moment, do not wait for the right time to do things that you have in your mind.

  7. Drop fear and selfishness and connect with people, animals, plants… everything in nature. This will only enrich our lives. Be all inclusive, show kindness and love, be ready to serve and help others.

  8. There should be a purpose in life. If we want to excel in a field then practice it regularly without fail. Daily dedicated attention is needed to master a craft.

If your reason for upset is real, then be compassionate to the person who has wronged you. By remaining upset, you will only be destroying your potential and wasting time.

  10. Read, learn, imbibe… never stop learning…never miss an opportunity to understand something…be like the river…never get stagnant…merge with the Supreme Truth in full flow.
