“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it – then I can achieve it.”
― Muhammad Ali

Can achievement be broken down into steps? It isn’t always that clean and easy, but those who achieve great things usually go through much of the same process, with many of the items listed below as part of that process. So if you have been struggling with achievement, look through the following. Start applying them as  Muhammad Ali and you will be on the road to achieving your dream.

Step 1: Dream it. Everything begins in the heart and mind. Every great achievement began in the mind of one person. They dared to dream, to believe that it was possible.

“Live everyday as if it were your last because someday you’re going to be right.”

Step 2: Believe it. Yes, your dream needs to be big. It needs to be something that is seemingly beyond your capabilities. But it also must be believable.

“I’m a fighter. I believe in the eye-for-an-eye business. I’m no cheek turner. I got no respect for a man who won’t hit back. You kill my dog, you better hide your cat.”

Step 3: See it. The great achievers have a habit.

“Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.”

Step 5: Plan it. Every dream must take the form of a plan.

“Don’t count the days, make the days count.”

Step 6: Work it. If you work on it each day, eventually you will achieve your dream.

“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion’.”

Step 7: Enjoy it. When you have reached your goal and you are living your dream, be sure to enjoy it.

“Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.”
